- No purchase or fee is necessary to enter or win this Care Bracelet Giveaway (the “Giveaway”). Purchase will not increase chances of winning.
- This Giveaway is open to residents of all U.S. states who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees of the National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) and its affiliates are not eligible to enter.
- The Giveaway begins on December 17, 2024, at 8:00 AM U.S. Eastern Time (ET) and ends on January 5, 2023, at 11:59 PM U.S. Eastern Time (PT) (the “Giveaway Period”).
- Participants will enter by following NDWA on Instagram and leaving a comment on the Giveaway Instagram post explaining what care means to them.
- Completion of the entry requirements during the Giveaway Period will count as one submission and will officially enter the participant in the drawing.
- Only one submission per entrant is allowed during the Giveaway Period.
- Submissions will not be returned or acknowledged. Submissions made through the Internet are deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the email address at the time of entry.
- Entrants must fully complete and submit all required steps to be eligible; incomplete entries are null and void. NDWA’s administrator’s server/computer is the official time keeping device for this giveaway.
- Ten (10) people selected from all entrants through a random number generator will receive a prize of an estimated value of $40.00, consisting of a Names for Good x NDWA care bracelet.
- Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.
- Prize winners will be notified by Instagram direct message.
- Winners have five (5) days to respond to the email or SMS notification to claim their prize. Winners must provide a mailing address in order to receive the prize.
- In the event that the selected winner(s) of any prize is/are ineligible, cannot be traced or does/do not respond within five (5) days to a winner notification as required by the rules above, or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited.
- Prizes may take several weeks from the date of notification to be shipped to winners.
- Winners may be asked to send a photo of themselves clearly showing their faces with the prize. First names and photos of winners will be used for announcement purposes only.
- By entering this Giveaway, all entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless NDWA and its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents and their employees, officers, directors and representatives from any claims, losses and damages arising out of their participation in this Giveaway or any Giveaway-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder.
- THIS GIVEAWAY IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW OR REGULATION. This Giveaway shall be subject to and governed by the laws of New York and the forum for any dispute shall be in courts in New York County, New York, United States of America.
- All federal, state/provincial/territorial, and local taxes, fees and surcharges and taxes (whether foreign or domestic, and including income, sales, and import taxes) on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.
- NDWA reserves the right to verify the validity and originality of any entry and/or entrant (including an entrant’s identity and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these rules or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by NDWA to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- If for any reason the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, NDWA reserves the right, at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway.
- Personal data, especially name and address, may be processed and otherwise used for the purposes within the context of the Giveaway and any other purpose outlined in these rules. Personal data will be used by NDWA for the Giveaway and will be added to the NDWA’s general email and/or sms distribution list.
