Know Your Voting Rights

Below are a few key facts to know about your voting rights on election day:

  • If you are in line when polls are supposed to close, stay in line – you have the RIGHT to vote.
  • If you make a mistake on your ballot, ask for a new one. It’s your RIGHT.
  • If your citizenship is questioned when you’re voting — Call for help!

  • If the machines are down at your polling place, you can ask for a paper ballot. It’s your RIGHT.
