The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) is the leading national voice for dignity and fairness for domestic workers in the United States. Founded in 2007, NDWA works for the respect, recognition, and inclusion in labor protections of domestic and home care workers across the country. NDWA is winning improved working conditions while building a powerful movement rooted in the human rights, dignity and equality of domestic workers, home care workers, immigrant women and Black women.
NDWA was founded in 2007 by 50 domestic workers and organizers from around the country. Our national alliance has grown from this founding group of 13 organizations to now more than 60 affiliate organizations, plus three local chapters developed

NDWA Labs is the innovation arm of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, one of the most dynamic and successful social change organizations in the world. NDWA Labs seeks to address the dearth of entrepreneurial talent and energy focused on improving the quality of domestic work jobs. In order to most effectively address this shortage, we plan to incubate and invest in early-stage ideas, models, and companies that have a potential application within our movement, if successful.

The National Domestic Workers Alliance (www.domesticworkers.org) organizes domestic workers in the United States for respect, recognition and labor standards. Through leadership development, strategic campaigns and alliance building, we seek to help build a powerful movement for social and global justice. NDWA has experienced immense financial growth and currently operates with a $18 million budget. We are seeking a Staff Accountant to execute accounting tasks for NDWA and its affiliated 501(c)4 and LLC.

Care in Action, the c4 arm of the National Domestic Workers Alliance seeks to hire State Directors to build strong statewide electoral organizing campaigns. The State Director will supervise the day-to-day operations of our integrated state based civic engagement work, leading one of the most important projects in our organization. They will manage the hiring and coordination of staff, manage the state budget, and coordinate with civic engagement tables and groups.
